Accidental Leaders and Managers

Accidental Leader and Managers Programmes

These innovative six-day management development training programmes will help creative and digital businesses in the Northwest to grow and prosper. Accidental Leaders is for company founders, CEO’s and leaders within the company and Accidental Managers is for rising stars that are now, or soon-to-be, in management roles.

Our launch events were held in Manchester and Liverpool on the 20th and 21st of May and included a ‘taster’ presentation on each programme and the chance to ask questions, however you can still download the Accidental Leaders and Accidental Manager prospectus for further infomation, and the Application Form.

Programme content and fees
Both programmes include six days of face-to-face training between June 2009 and January 2010 backed up by expert personalised mentoring and online peer networking.

The programmes are funded by Northwest Vision and Media in partnership with Skillset, and supported by the North West Regional Development Agency.

Because each place is heavily subsidised participants lucky enough to win a place will only need to pay a nominal fee of £500 (plus VAT) for £5,000 worth of training, development and mentoring. In this launch year participant places will be limited to 24 for Accidental Managers and 20 for Accidental Leaders.

Accidental Managers is being delivered by Kirkbright, the UK’s specialist creative industry management development company. Accidental Leaders is being run by Swedish education company, Hyper Island.
